With great anticipation, Monument welcomes Simone Scardino to MNMT 331 with his own solo project CONCEPTUAL -a musical style and vision that is truly his own .
Simone , originally from Italy , currently based in Berlin , has been an active figure in the scene for more than a decade . In 2020 Simone founded the Berlin based art and music collective” Friendship Collective” where through his devotion to techno, visual and performing arts , the idea CONCEPTUAL was born. On the production side CONCEPTUAL made his official debut on Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up Recordings with his album “Null Respek”’ , followed up by his “Introspective Research” Ep on Lewis Fautzi’s imprint Faut Sectio , 2 outstanding remixes on PWCCA ‘s Ep & an amazing collab with Nørbak on Immaterial.Archives . At the moment he is working on his own imprint and many releases will see the light in the following months on various labels.
He has performed in internationally acclaimed venues around Europe and his sets are characterized by colorful and unique energetic techno , a powerful explosion of craziness and happiness at the same time. Three-dimensional spatial sounds combined with gentle but determined drum grooves create a mystical and whirling result and a killer stereo experience that can be felt on Monument’s 56 min journey .You can catch him play in Poland 11 June @ konect Festival & 25 June @ Tresor west .
