We are truly thrilled to share a mix by the East London-based rising star; Forest Drive West. With phenomenal releases on Whities, Midgar records and other highly acclaimed labels, Forest Drive West aka Joe Baker has been leaving his mark on the scene. He is known for his bass-driven rhythms, in combination with hypnotic, mind-bending vibrations. Aside from his recent captivating releases, the British artist has also risen as one of the artist to watch within the deep techno scene due to his stellar performances at various festivals such as Paral•lel festival, Waking Life, and various other events in 2018 and 2019.
MNMT 247 highlights the more Jungle & Drum ‘n Bass side of Forest Drive West; caressing high energy beats that will create the urge for many to dance. We are thrilled to welcome Joe to our very own MNMT Festival this summer to perform a set during a very special slot. Besides performing at our own festival this summer, he will also be returning to the United States with a tour including afterparties gigs during Detroit’s annual special event Movement. There are more great things lined up from him; namely an EP on Delsin, as well as another full EP on one of the oldest label in the business: R&S; stay tuned for that.
