We welcome Nicosia-based Alex Tomb to make this week’s contribution to the MNMT podcast. Alex is one of the most prominent and experienced figures in the Cyprus techno scene, having secured a residency at Klubd since 2008. Since 2017 he has also started his own label; Capparis Spinosa, which will be releasing a new EP early on in 2019.
In terms of his style, Alex Tomb comes from a dark romantic angle, with sturdy, shifting bass grooves paired with melancholic, hypnotic atmospheres. He always manages to meticulously blend and layer the different tracks in his mixes, which helps create an exceptional flow to his mixes.
