After bursting out in 2012 and becoming mainstays at Avian, with releases on Semantica and Mord, Shxcxchcxsh will now be directing their own label, Rösten.
The first release will be from Shxcxchcxsh themselves; Stamma. The 4-track record draws from the ambient approach that features in their older work. The Swedish duo retain the white noise snares and heavy dub undercurrents. June 23rd is the debut date.

So far it’s unknown whether Rösten will primarily be for Shxcxchcxsh’s own productions or if they will release other artists. In the mean time, new material from Shxcxchcxsh is welcome. Especially as they move towards this modern reflection of 90s dub techno. They are one to watch in the coming years as techno approaches an unknown horizon.
