French duo Kas:st present the second chapter of their double EP ‘Dyphoria I Euphoria’ to be released on their own label, Flyance Records. They aim at highliting the very hypnotic and emotional side of contemporary techno, and we were lucky to get one of their tracks premiered here on Monument:
The project Dyphoria I Euphoria must be seen as a journey where they share their own vision of modern techno, at once hypnotic and dance floor oriented. Each four original tracks are remixed by artists closed to the musical aesthetic of the label, such as Deepbass, Shlømo, HVL, Re:Axis, Luke Hess, Anetha, AWB and Setaoc Mass.
English producer Setaoc Mass, recently retreated in Berlin and who has been released on labels such as Figure or Work Them, delivers here his own version of 66:66 track from Parisian duo Kas:st. Thus, he reinforces his position of talented producer to be watched closely since he follows here his own style with success, an agressive and efficient techno, without taking away the melancolic and mental vibe specific to the own sound of Kas:st and their label Flyance Records
