We are excited to welcome DJ Yazi as a guest on this week’s MNMT podcast. The Japanese DJ is know for his versatile style, being able to fluidly move across styles, while still carrying a focus on deep and tripped out grooves. Yazi is also known for his live/DJ Hybrid collaboration with Haruka as Twin Peaks, as which they have played at the Parisian Concrete and the Grounded Theory party in Berlin. As a solo DJ, he has also been gaining more popularity, securing bookings at last year’s Berlin Atonal and Herrensauna.
MNMT 169 distinctly shows the great deal of experience he has as a DJ. A lot of this experience, he was able garner in his many years being part of the Black Smoker Collective in Japan. Also, he is a resident of the Konvektion party, held at one of the most well-known clubs in Tokyo: Contact
