We’re thrilled to introduce you a new project by @mnmt.no that will be the cradle of a lot new fervent connections.
“Old Sound for New Colors”.
As a worldwide source of objective vibes into the techno music scene, our intent is to explore what belongs to the music and every shape of inspiration that artists can find in it. In this new monthly episode, we’ll introduce you one Vj Artist and the visual translation of his flux of art, inspired by one of our Podcast.

Or Sarfati is a musician / visual artist based in Berlin.
His visual environments are inspired by nature and generative behaviors, created by artificial environments which generate materials out of the logic of an algorithm.

“Nature is always his greatest inspiration. He sees the most complex and interesting systems of textures and bavarois in nature. For him, the interest lays between the predictable and non-predictable outcomes of a system that contains forces and roles such as clouds, grass in the wind, flowing water.
His own creation starts by trying to imitate those environments, following by implementation of foreign forces and logic I can inject by code.

“The music of Isorinne gave me the open and emotional soundscape I found the most suitable for the visuals I wanted to create for this project. I wanted to create a generative material that will echo strongly aside to the music. First, i had the idea of flowing water, which lead to the idea of a current flow inside a fog of cloud/water.”

Native from the middle French land, vinyls activist from 2000’s ending, @asilenti0 started to make music to work one’s way up on his local scene before to be part of the new young Parisian’s scene with the Moebius/Drom group. Based in Lyon, he was the first head of Partition Libre team, who made some events with artists such as Mike Parker, Kangding Ray, Neel, Korridor, Dimi Angélis, or Takaaki Itoh just to name some of them.

Resident artist and part of Château Perché Festival and Perchépolis label as Artistic director and Stage Manager, he's influenced by the organic and psychedelic wave and artists as Sandwell District, P.A.S, Muslimgauze, Donato Dozzy and more.

For this episode of MNMT Recordings we are excited to release Kaspiann’s live-set from Elements x Sektgarten @ ://about blank in Berlin performed on 4/9/21 .

From Helsinki, Finland, @soundsofkaspiann DJs and produces with intrinsic interest in the icy textures and glacial landscapes of the northern country. Often drawing from weightless atmospheres and deep rhythm, Kaspiann uses the raw and brutal elements of the physical land to capture a scene. Though not an easy task, Kaspiann’s productions made their way to avid curators and casual listeners alike-with releases on The Gods Planet, Planet Rhythm, and Etherwerks to name a few.
